Needless Casualties Of War

I am wanting to know if anybody has read the book Needless Casualties of War, written by John Paul Jackson. And if you have, do you agree with the concept of the danger of prayer/coming against principalities, and if this is in fact a danger to be aware of. What is your experience or knowledge of such things?

Haven't read it. I don't personally engage principalities. I'm more of a stealth mode terraformer. :ninja: Tagging Melody Paasch

Thank you Seneca. I am not even sure what or who principalities are, but I sure did get into Katie Souza about a year or more ago, and just don't know about all of this bringing down strong holds over regions and so forth...is it all busy distraction? Is it all necessary for the kingdom to advance? Haha, I sure don't know.

Yeah, I heard that one of Katie Souza's. I had some issues with that one. I really wanna like Katie, but it's almost like you have to live in fear of making a mistake or you'll have a territory full of pissed off demons that have been waiting for an open door/legal right so they can jump on you. And the thing she says is she had to watch her language. She can't say the s-word, but can say Holy Cow all the way through her teachings. I'm sure that's nothing to her, but if you wanna get technical and legalistic, it's the invocation of Baal. I just don't see how one is ok and the other is cause for opening yourself up to attack.

Well this book is pretty much saying the same thing. That we have no authority in the second heaven, that our authority is on earth. And when people start going after principalities without the instruction of the Lord, we are opened up to be hit by them. I just wonder what is real nad true about all of this. Hmmm

Very good point! I met Katie Souza in a conference up in Coeur de lane. I had been very into her teaching.

Was hoping some other people would weigh in. I just don't go there, and I cringe when praying with someone else and they do. I really would rather work from the ground up, but I understand wanting to take out the head honchos.

Wow, thank you Seneca. Now I understand the picture the Lord gave me, of you being in the tree of life, and into the ground as the root system into the earth, as well as the tree above ground...wow

    Hi Guys,
I believe you just said it in a paragraph Tammy. Jesus did nothing without SEEING The Father doing it and or that He received INSTRUCTION to do. I personally feel that it is that simple. I do believe that Christianity travels under presumption more than not, but also that it travels under fear and acquiescence under ignorance. We all deal with it. I think the John Paul Jackson book (I haven't read it) may be about going into war without being properly equipped.

Sorry this just kept getting lost...

I've read over this several times and am now finally commenting... I agree with Melody. I've not read the book but I've read similar books and understand the concept. It's all about being equipped as Melody states. Sometimes we have bad situations on our hands (could be a battle of some kind) but when we go ill-equipped, the outcome is generally not so good. I believe that's why it's important to understand what you're up against.

No army goes into war without understanding and studying the tactics of the opponent. That doesn't mean you engage the opponent during the process. I think this is where the covertness of study comes in, too. In the ancient times, opposing sides would line up across the battle field from each other, right in the open. They would then charge each other and whomever came out of that with the least amount of dead people was considered the victor. Over the years, people have become smarter about setting up strategy so they are more guaranteed a win.

In knowing what I do about John Paul Jackson, I'd say his book is dealing with "war" in a manner of being trained and covert. Sometimes, you just have to outsmart the enemy.

I am just beginning to scratch the surface into this and learning myself. I am learning what a "seer" is and how to develop that gift. I have been in constant communication with spirit in regards to my family, and in my times of prayer spirit will show me something and tell me how to deal with it. I have not got into the principalities though. I agree with Seneca, and I have not felt lead to go there. I am very interested in learning though. I have much to learn first. So much food for though.

Great video! And, if you think about it, it really is along the lines of dealing with principalities. It's simply looking at it from another perspective.

Well this concept seems to be a popular one of the past, the idea that you could get hurt by engaging principalities. Some may believe we have been given all authority...etc. Yet recently, some such as John Crowder and others I have heard say this is really nonsense. That all has been put under our feet, and the enemy has been dis-armed.

This is the terraforming video? I watched it awhile back. Very good... and I agree, we don't need to be engaging principalities. Uh... there are better ways. I like your idea (Seneca) of the stealth mode. Yep...

I have been called into some of this. Done some work in Spain, Greece, Poland, San Francisco.
"The first rule of fight club" is don't pick a fight. Jesus said that where we stand weak He stands strong. My favorite place to do warfare is from the folds of His robe. My imagery is being covered except for my face, sticking my tongue out as I hide behind my big Brother.
Jesus example, dealing with such things was waiting for ten to come to Him, and I suspect that they really don't take any notice of us until we are big enough to kick their backsides. They show up with great bravado, to intimidate and you kick their tookus to a place where The angelic will escort them to.
Recently I saw a young man delivered shortly after a demon asked "Do you know who I am?" To which I responded, "it doesn't matter who you are- do you know who I Am?" And he, being a small mountain (but a mountain none the less), was cast into the see.

There is a difference between “standing orders” (what we all are called to do) and “special orders” (what specific people are called to do in specific places at strategic times.) We ALL have authority to operate in standing orders; we get in trouble when we are not the authorized recipient of a special order and yet try to carry it out. I believe we do have all authority over all the power of the enemy WITHIN our metron (sphere of influence and assignment.) Just my $ .02
